Pecan Bars

Ingredients

  • Base
  • 2 cupsSifted flour
  • ½ lbUnsalted softened butter
  • Topping
  • ½ cupBrown sugar
  • ½ cupSugar
  • 1 cupCorn syrup
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ tspVanilla
  • ¼ cupMelted butter
  • 2 cupsChopped pecans
  • Pinchof salt

Instructions

    Preheat to 350°F.

    Mix base flour and butter; press into 13x9 pan.

    Bake 20-30 minutes until golden. Cool completely.

    Combine all topping ingredients except pecans.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour over cooled crust.

    Bake 30 minutes until set.

    Allow to cool and set before cutting.
