Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lbGround beef
  • 1 lbItalian sausage
  • ½ lbPancetta
  • 12 tbspOlive oil
  • 12 tbspButter
  • 1 lbSpaghetti or fettuccini
  • Basil, Oregano, Parsley
  • Onion, Carrots, Celery, Garlic
  • Tomatoes, Tomato paste
  • Beef stock, White wine
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

    Heat stock pan with oil and butter; sauté vegetables until soft.

    Add pancetta until fat renders.

    Add ground meats; season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes. Cook 5 minutes.

    Add tomato paste until meat browns.

    Deglaze with wine; add stock, tomatoes, and herbs.

    Simmer 30+ minutes.

    Cook pasta meanwhile.

    Before serving, stir in 2 tbsp butter for creaminess.

    Serve sauce over pasta with Parmesan and parsley.
